Who Is Mad Sports & Designs?
Where it all began... With Miles A. Dean.
Miles was raised on a farm just outside of Wendell, North Carolina. He attended Wendell High School, later Vaiden Whitley High School, where he graduated in 1968. He received a Golf Scholarship to attend Atlantic Christian College, in Wilson, where he received his BS Degree in Health, P.E. and Science. After college, he came back to his hometown to teach and coach in the Wake County School System. After marrying his college sweetheart, Lee Mcgonigal in 1974, Miles and a close friend opened a sporting goods store in downtown Wendell called D&S Sports. The business later transformed into Mad Sports & Designs and is still going strong after over 45 years.
Mad Sports & Designs is an embroidery and screen printing company, offering custom team uniforms and equipment, specializing in Travel Baseball, and Fast Pitch Softball organizations. We also see a variety of clients from the corporate and not-for-profit sectors.
Our in house embroidery and screen printing operation makes our business local and convenient, for community clubs and organizations to fill their promotional marketing needs.
